When I Am Jealous

When I am not jealous,

I imagine, my eyes closed -

You alone, not naked, smiling at nothing,

The innocence intact, with silence around you

Looking at my face in the air, caressing

It with love and soft kisses.

When I am jealous, I imagine

My eyes wide open, you in the company

Of silence, romancing with it,

The wind stealing the scent

From your long beautiful hair, you

Standing naked, in the balcony of the clouds,

Rays brushing your body with their heat,

Sweating you, shaking you, melting you,

In the middle of vast ocean, riddled

With sharks, ghosts, and dark blue hue,

Don’t descend dear, don’t, It is dark, deep, and there

Are sharks, with their mouths wide open.

The ocean is jealous, hungry, Don’t descend.
